Part-Time Online Islamic Studies Program

OVERVIEW AND COURSES

The Part-Time Online Islamic Studies program is based entirely upon the in-class program. The Part-Time Program is live-streamed in our online student portal where students can interact and ask questions in real time to our instructors. Students are able to experience the classroom setting from abroad. This program offers access to knowledge in a more convenient manner.

The Madina Methodology

Our teaching methodology is unique in its process to teach students a variety of viewpoints within the bounds of Ahl’ Sunnah. This approach provides students with an unbiased understanding of many schools of thought. At Madina, we believe in providing knowledge and information, not indoctrinating a particular point of view. This results in a well-rounded seeker of knowledge. We believe in making knowledge accessible to those who are unable to seek it out in a full-time manner.

Program Objectives

The program is one weekend of each month for a total of 10 months and approximately 40 credit hours of instruction. Students have the opportunity to have online instruction as well as live Q&A time with the instructor. The total amount of study time recommended outside of class is approximately 4 hours per week.

Program Schedule

The program layout and timings are the same as the in-class, with an altered option for those in differing time zones or requiring a flexible study schedule. Students have the option to participate in a live-streamed class and ask questions to the instructor in real-time! Alternatively, students can opt for a recorded class if they cannot make the live-class timings. This program also offers a hybrid option for those students who are able to attend some in-class sessions but also require some online sessions.
